In July the Boston Globe reported ‘ a group of influential senators ‘ were seeking to have alternative therapies included in health care reform.
The two main sponsors of the senate amendment are, Senator Tom Harkin (D) Iowa, a long time proponent of alternative medicine and Senator Barbara Mikulski (D) Maryland.
